Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has backed Romelu Lukaku to bounce back from his nightmare spell at Chelsea.

Conte believes Lukaku can hurt you from anywhere

Conte has praised Lukaku's all-round game, saying that he is a player who can "hurt you from anywhere".

"He's a complete striker," Conte said. "He's got everything. He's strong, he's fast, he can score goals, he can create chances, he can hold the ball up, he can play with his back to goal, he can run in behind."

"He's a player that can hurt you from anywhere, and I think he's going to be a great addition to our team."

Conte sees his characteristics in Lukaku

Conte also compared Lukaku to himself, saying that he sees his own characteristics in the Belgian striker.

"He's a hard worker, he's a winner, he's a leader," Conte said. "He's got all the qualities that you want in a striker, and I think he's going to be a big success at Tottenham."

"I see a lot of myself in him," Conte added. "We're both passionate about the game, we're both winners, and we both want to be the best."
