Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar to team up for Paris 2024
Historic duo to represent Australia in women's beach volleyball
The pair are Australia's first ever Olympic medallists in the sport
Olympic bronze medallists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar have confirmed they will team up once again to represent Australia in the women's beach volleyball event at the Paris 2024 Games.
The duo made history at the Tokyo Olympics last year, winning Australia's first ever medal in beach volleyball with a bronze in a thrilling match against Latvia.
They will be looking to add to their medal collection in Paris, where they will be one of the favourites for a podium finish.
Clancy and Artacho del Solar are already in training for the Games, and they are confident they can make a strong challenge for the gold medal.
"We're both really excited to be teaming up again and we're confident we can achieve something special in Paris," Clancy said.
"We've learned a lot from our experiences in Tokyo, and we're determined to put that knowledge to good use.
"We know it's going to be a tough challenge, but we're confident we have what it takes to win a medal."
